Meet Our Staff
Jennifer Burns
CRNP
With almost 20 years in healthcare, my journey began as a registered nurse, leading me to advance my degree and become a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. My expertise spans primary and urgent care, and I'm dedicated to providing the highest standard of compassionate, patient-centered care. I find it incredibly rewarding to connect with my patients and partner with them on their health and well-being journey. Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and catching a great concert.

Jordan DeJoya
RN
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 and began my career in the Neurological/Trauma ICU at Huntsville Hospital, where I was honored with the "Care Champion" award during my first year as a registered nurse. In 2019, I transitioned into travel nursing, working as a Critical Care RN in a wide range of Intensive Care Units across the country—including Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Neurological, and Trauma ICUs. I am passionate about critical thinking and uncovering new, more effective ways to approach complex problems. I believe that even the most daunting clinical challenges can be unraveled with creative thinking and determination. Above all, I value empathy as my most essential skill—enabling me to care not just for the physical well-being of my patients, but for their emotional health as well.
Shannon Collier
LPN
I hold an associate degree in pre-engineering from Northwest Shoals and have furthered my education with a Practical Nursing certification! My experience includes long-term care, hospice, primary care offices, private duty nursing, and hospitals, with a special passion for working in ID/DD care. Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family and attending church.

Karina Diaz
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2016 from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. Along the way, I became a certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist and completed training in EKG. Caring for others has always been my passion, and I truly enjoy making patients feel comfortable and welcome. When I’m not in the clinic, I love spending time outdoors, hiking new trails, being with my family, and of course spoiling my dog.
